I haven't posted in a while.  There's not been much change on the actual housing front of our project but DH has been busy getting crops in the ground, tearing out fences, plowing up pasture and the like.

Here is a view from last winter with the "bunny house" as we not so lovingly call it.  It was a "cute" little shack made out of old aluminum storm doors and the like. Ugh!

Here is this spring with the "bunny house" gone and some of the trees out.

And now freshly planted with sunflowers.  With any luck I'll be able to post pictures around Labor Day of a bright yellow field loaded with sunflowers.  :)

Thanks to our wonderfully techy nephew and his toys, we have a great aerial view of our property now.  The roof you see in the lower left is our property.  The one in the upper right is the neighbors. You can't tell from the picture but the grove of trees right at the neighbors property line is a hill so we can't see each other from the houses.  This picture is looking northeast.

Here's a better overview of the north end of the property where the house sits.  In this picture, east is at the top.  It's really obvious from the picture how overgrown everything is around the house.  It looks like trees are growing form the roof.

Looking south, this is the field you saw above in the first 3 pictures. This shot was obviously taken before we plowed it up.

Not sure how soon more progress will happen. There are things to be done where we currently live as well and that may be the remainder of the summer.

Thanks for following along with our project and have a wonderful 4th everyone!
